This is a long mans marine overcoat. I think this is possibly WWII but not positive.
Serge green wool.
Peaked lapels with button loop on left.
Padded shoulders. Inside seams are taped with a half lining.
Shoulder straps and buttons.
Double breasted with three sets of large plastic buttons that were used to save materials during the war.
Two side pockets. Long back vent with button about halfway down. Straps and two buttons on back at waist.
Patch on side is Sergeant E-5 Sgt red and green cheveron.
Label on side reads overcoat mens wool serge green MC dsa100-76-1275 vi mil inc 100% wool.
Label at neck reads 34s 8405-00-889-3633 and measurements are

Sleeves 24"
Length 45 from back at collar
Vent 19"
Noted flaw is one tiny spot on inside
