This is a womens suit made by jos a banks.
This is deadstock and still has the original tags.
Late 80s this is dated 1987 on the tags.
Wonderful fabric is slightly textured reminding me of a barkcloth though the grain is not as prominent.
The jacket or blazer has two false pockets for show.
Lightly padded shoulders.
Features 5 mother of pearl hidden buttons up front for closure. One much larger unevenly shaped mother of pearl button at top is the only one to show when buttoned.
The inside is lined I believe with a white silk and has one pocket.

The skirt has 11 darts and is pleated below each one for a full classic look.
Plastic zipper with on mother of pearl button at waist for closure with the 12th pleat below that.

Noted flaw other than needing a light cleaning is a faint mark as shown. I have left the picture large to try and show this. I have gently cleaned this by soaking and hanging to dry as it still has the original tags sewn on. Most of it has come out leaving the faint line. I do not know for sure if the rest will come out but can easily be disguised with a flower or a vintage pin hiding it.Please measure for ease of movement.
Measurements are taken when garment is lying flat. Bust measurements are taken from underarm to underarm and can vary from what label measurements state.
