This is a purse muff combo from the 1930s.

Luxerious sable i believe on one side is a warm rich brown and feels so soft to the touch.

The other side has quilted silk in a rich mahogany brown.

Trimming the top of this is a dark brown embroidered strip featuring tiny stitches forming a swirl motif.

Hidden zipper along top of pruse with silk handle.

Inside is two pockets and lined possibly with a cotton rayon mix ?

The inside of the purse is open forming a muff for cold winter days so that you do not need to carry the purse but instead wear it keeping you warm.

The lining of this is also silk.

An amazingly elegant purse.

Shows light wear to top at zipper and a few nicks in sable. One inside pocket is a little loose. Overall very sound and beautiful looking.
